We really do need an equivalent of AO3 for fanart and fanvids. We can link to art and video on AO3 but it must be hosted privately. I do worry about all of the digital art I’ve created for my own work and others being archived on a temporary site. Yes, this website is mine, but it is not a permanent space in reality. You know, I won’t be in this world forever, as morbid as it is to think about.

All of the non-text based fanworks are always in danger. It’s a stark reality and I am happy to link to olderthannetfic’s post about the history of purges in fandom.
